18th Meeting of the Association for Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery of Macedonia on the topic “Urinary Incontinence”
The Association for Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery of Macedonia on 18.05.2018 in the auditorium of Zan Mitrev Clinic (ZMC) held the 18th regular scientific meeting. The main topic discussed by eminent specialists in the field was urinary incontinence (involuntary discharge of urine), a frequent disorder among the population in these areas.
The event included speeches by the following specialists:
- “Urinary Incontinence – Where Are We Today” – Prof. Dr. Vasil Iliev
- “Clinical and Urodynamic Characteristics of Unstable Detrusor” – Ass. Dr. Saso Stojchevski
- “Case Reports on Incontinence” – Dr. Sotir Stavridis, Dr. Dragi Dabeski, Dr. Daniel Petrovski and Dr. Ilija Kelepurovski
- “Soliphar and Urofos: Modern Pharmacological Treatment of Overactive Bladder” – Cvetanka Trpenoska
The most modern microinvasive techniques of surgical treatment were elaborated, which are performed in our clinic by internationally proven experts in the field. In addition, attention was paid to new conservative treatment methods. The topic of this scientific gathering is purposefully highlighted due to the apparent progress in the therapeutic approach (surgical and conservative), registered in ZMC.
