Our doctors had their professional presentations in front of numerous students at this year’s Congress organized by the students at the UGD Faculty of Medical Sciences held in Shtip from 15th to 17th May. Every doctor, from the point of view of their specialty, talked about the common topic of emergency medical situations. Dr. Aleksandar Milosavljevikj spoke about emergencies in cardiology, while Dr. Simona Despotovska presented about emergency situations in anesthesiology and intensive care.
Emergency situations in vascular surgery was the topic of Dr. Riste Zimoski’s presentation, while Dr. Simona Grujevska focused on the issue of urgent situations in cardiac surgery.
Dr. Viktor Grujevski attracted attention on the “men’s topics” and spoke about the urgent situations in urology.
Dr. Eleonora Lazarova had a presentation about emergencies in neonatology, while Dr. Mihail Taushanov focused on emergency situations in neurosurgery. Dr. Jelena Golubovikj spoke about the urgent situations in gynecology and obstetrics.
Prof. Dr. Milka Klincheva and Doc. Dr. Oliver Bushletikj had their presentations and familiarized the students with topics about the long-term successful cooperation between our clinic and the university, as well as about the most recent transcatheter aortic valvular implantation methods.
Students, young doctors, researchers and experts from various countries took part in this international congress and exchanged experiences and knowledge in the medical field. This event was also a great opportunity for the students to take part in various workshops and connect with the medical professionals from the region and from other countries. The capacities and the services of the clinic and of the regional diagnostic center Zan Mitrev Diagnostic in Strumica were presented to all the participants and visitors of this congress, students and doctors as possible options for their employment and professional development.
Our clinic traditionally supports this congress as a part of the strategy for sharing knowledge, experiences and promotion of medical science and international cooperation.
