The psychiatric evaluation includes a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s mental state, psychoeducation, and a psychotherapeutic and/or psychopharmacological approach to treatment.

The approach is individualized and holistic, with close collaboration with other medical specialties, taking into account the connection between physical and mental health.

Assessment of the relationship between physical and mental health in outpatient and hospitalized patients, with the goal of timely recognition and treatment of conditions such as anxiety, confusion, or delirium.

Tools and Diagnostic Support

Depending on the clinical condition, psychodiagnostic tools are used as part of the diagnostic process. These assessments are carried out by a qualified psychologist as part of a multidisciplinary approach.

When necessary, patients are referred for additional investigations such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) of the brain, in order to exclude or confirm an organic cause of the symptoms.
